🧂 Ingredients
1 cup red lentils
2 onions thinly sliced
2 green chillies chopped
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Soak lentils for 2 hours, drain and grind coarsely.

Mix with onion, chilli, cumin, turmeric and salt.

Heat oil in a pan.

Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden and crispy.

Serve hot with tamarind chutney.
💡 Tips
Don't grind lentils too fine — keep it slightly coarse for crunch.
Fry on medium heat so they cook through without burning.
