🧂 Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp yogurt
1 tsp yeast
Water
Oil for frying
1 cup sugar
½ cup water for syrup
Few saffron strands

Mix flour, yogurt and yeast with water to make a smooth batter. Rest for 1 hour.

Make sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water with saffron until slightly sticky.

Heat oil in a pan.

Pour batter through a piping bag in spiral shapes into hot oil.

Fry until golden, then immediately dip in warm sugar syrup.

Serve warm.
💡 Tips
Batter should be thin enough to flow easily.
Dip in syrup quickly — don't soak too long or they'll get soggy.
