🧂 Ingredients
1 cup rice
½ cup lentils
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp ghee
Salt to taste
4 cups water

Wash rice and lentils together.

Heat ghee in a pot, add cumin and bay leaves.

Add rice and lentils, fry for 2 minutes.

Add water, turmeric and salt.

Cook on low heat until soft and thick.

Serve with fried egg or pickle.
💡 Tips
Add extra water for softer consistency.
A dollop of ghee on top adds great flavor.
